Terms range from three months to ten years. You choose the interest payment schedule you like best.

You are lending money to Consumer Portfolio Services when you purchase a note. The notes are not bank CD's. They are not FDIC-insured. The notes include the risk of loss as described in the Prospectus.

How to invest in CPS Notes:

  • Carefully read the Prospectus and its supplements, including the section of the Notes Offering Supplement entitled "Risk Factors".
  • Complete and sign a Subscription Agreement identifying the dollar amounts and terms of the notes you wish to purchase.
  • Complete and sign a Direct Deposit Form identifying the account where your principal and interest payments should be deposited.
  • Complete and sign a W-9 form to verify your tax ID number. We may be unable to process any principal or interest payments without this form.
  • Write a check for your aggregate investment amount made payable to Consumer Portfolio Services, Inc.
  • Mail your check, the Subscription Agreement, the Direct Deposit Form, and the W-9 to:
